Combination of Microbiome Database and AI Technology for Futuristic Healthcare By Dr. Takashi Yoshikawa (Managing Director at Corundum Innovation Co., Ltd.) Contents: There are many bacteria in our body: bifidobacteria and escherichia coli and more than 1000+ kinds. The microbiome profile affects wide range of human's health, not just food poisoning, but nutrition intake, skin, brain, central nervous systems and so forth. We will be able to make innovative healthcare solution if we understand the mechanism, however it is too complex. In this talk, Takashi will introduce a Corundum's approach with AI technologies in this domain. We develop huge microbiome+vital database and artificial intelligence algorithm to be integrated for new findings. These findings will enable us to make new medicines, treatments, therapeutics, surgeries, medical devices, meal-planning and so forth. Brief history of the speaker: Takashi joined Corundum Innovation as Managing Director of Business Development. Before joining Corundum Innovation, he played several roles at NineSigma Asia Pacific as a Director, where he managed more than 150 open innovation projects. The projects varies, such as technology match making, business development consulting, technology research and so forth. Prior to NineSigma, he contributed to four projects of product development as a Mechanical Engineer at Schlumberger, a global oilfield service company. He majors aerospace engineering, and received BE and ME with hons from Tohoku University and PhD from the University of Tokyo.
